I thought I would share some info on the new version of Top Producer that is coming to the market. It's version 8i and I sat through a demo of the product at the Keller Williams Family Reunion.
First, it sounds like this upgrade will be available without charge to users of version 7i, so that's a good thing.
I haven't been the biggest advocate of Top Producer because it just isn't that user friendly, so I was happy to see that 8i has been modified to make it a lot more user friendly. The first thing they mentioned was the elimination of the timed login bar that comes up as the program is loading...great!! They also mentioned that the incompatibilties with certain javascript has been corrected so the program will run on any computer.
The biggest difference that I noticed was the change in user screens. Everything appears to be a lot more integrated. By that I mean, programs and functions are grouped for ease of use. I really came away thinking that this new version will make my life a lot easier.
We were told that the product is being rolled out over the next few months to stagger the implementation. I'm excited about this upgrade and hope it makes a believer out of me.
