Princeton Homes- Revaluation Time
In 2008, Princeton homeowners will see their homes go through a revaluation, an exercise that was last done in 1996. According to the Princeton Packet on Feb 15, 2008, about 1/3 of the homes are expected to see an increase, a 1/3 a decrease and the remaining 1/3 are expected to remain the same. The upcoming revaluation will include an inspection of all homes, commercial and exempt properties. If all goes according to plan, municipalities are expected to get an idea of the new assessments this fall. An appeals process remains in place.
