I was at our Keller Williams Family reunion event last week and had the opportunity to meet and talk to agents from all over the US and Canada. Most conversations usually turned to how is your market and how has it affected the prices. Duriung these conversation I would realize how fortunate tht we are here in the bread basket of the country. While most of the agents that I spoke with could tell never ending stories of declining prices or short sales, I just kept thinking of our lack of those two problems. Do not get me wrong we have some of those situations, however we are not in the situation that a lot of the country is in. Champaign area real estate is typically not declining and in most situations tending to maintain our normal appreciation. If you are thinking about getting into the game it is a very good time. Inventories are good and interest rates are great. If you have a home to sell, keep in mind that there are lots of people who looking. Now may be the prefect time for you to move to the home that you have always dreamed of. If you have questions or comments, let us know. Have a great day! Steve Littlefield |
