|Daytona Beach Real Estate & Community Events Blog. By Lisa C. Hill, "THE SMART CHOICE!"|
NASCAR fans, welcome to Daytona Beach! We love our visitors. But perhaps you'd like to buy some real estate in Daytona Beach; so next time you'll have your own slice of heaven. Why pay for steep hotel fees when you can be building equity in your own second home. As you're aware, property values have significantly fallen, but you may not be aware that in the Daytona Beach area, real estate sales have been increasing.
Please allow me to introduce myself. I'm an award-winning REALTOR® named Lisa C. Hill. And I'm a Daytona Beach native, which is a rare breed. Combine these attributes and you have The Smart Choice for real estate in Volusia County. I sell houses and condos in every city in East Volusia County. If you're not familiar with the layout of the Daytona Beach area, click on these cities to view the map. Daytona Beach, Ormond Beach, South Daytona, Port Orange, Ponce Inlet, Wilbur by the Sea, Daytona Beach Shores, Holly Hill, Ormond by the Sea, New Smyrna Beach, Edgewater and a few ordinances.
While you were watching yesterday's race and spectacular win by Ryan Newman, I was blogging about NASCAR and the first woman to win a starting spot in the Daytona 500; Janet Guthrie. She has an amazing story! You can read about Janet Guthrie on her web site or on the NASCAR site. And if you're interested, you can buy Janet's autobiography.
But, while Janet Guthrie was the first woman to win a starting spot in the Daytona 500 in 1977, there was another intriguing woman who raced in Daytona before Janet. The next inspiring NASCAR woman is known as racing's "Good ol' Gal", Louise Smith. Louise raced against Daytona's best when the races were still held ON the beach! Louise Smith raced from 1946 to 1956. You can read about Louise on the NASCAR site, where I found she actually had 38 victories!
But, enough about the original women of NASCAR and back to Daytona Beach real estate. I personally have a wide selection of houses and condos listed for sale. You can view these real estate listings on my web site here: Real Estate Listed with Lisa Hill. Since I'm a REALTOR® (not just a real estate agent) these listings are all in the Daytona Beach MLS, through our REALTOR® Association.
If you'd like to buy a house or condo in a slightly different environment that is still close enough to attend all the races and special events, you might be interested in New Smyrna Beach. New Smyrna Beach is a quaint beach town with a laid back feel, as opposed to Daytona's tourist attractions and sometimes party atmosphere, and it's only 20 miles away. I'm a member of both the Daytona Beach Area Association of REALTORS® and the New Smyrna Beach REALTOR® Association. Like I said, I'm a Daytona Beach native with plenty of experience and an ingrained knowledge of every city in this area. (Along with family members living in many of these cities)
I hope you enjoyed the races and maybe I'll see you at Bike Week! To buy or sell real estate in the Daytona Beach area, please visit my web sites through any of the links embedded in this post. I'd love to help you make a house or condo investment in Daytona Beach, New Smyrna Beach or any of the cities listed above.
