Boy, you must have NO FEAR of heights! How high up did you have to go to install that top picture?

The furnishings are really fun - I assume they're yours?

I also love staging small spaces. I recently staged four 2-bedroom model condos, 600 sq ft (yes, I said 600 sq ft). I made sure to use small scale furnishings in each. Everyone, including me, was amazed at how much bigger they looked when the furnishings were in place. Great testimonies for staging.

Bar of soap back at ya!

NO, I would never send this to anyone else but you! Aren't you proud of me for putting it right back in its wrapper before sending it on?!  ;=)

Jackson-

It's amazing what can be done within a small space when traffic flow, correct furniture placement, and visual accessories are all implemented.  Architectural Digest here you come!  What type of camera did you use for these great shots?

Jackson - awesome perspective.  Beautifully accented in a wonderful color.  Did you provide another shot of this unit to CSP for use in class?  I remember seeing a photo of a condo with a view out the window and the sky was the same color as the pillows and carpet.  A truly remarkable photo and one I believe belonged to you and which may have been this same property.

Wow! Thanks for the positive feedback on this project everyone.

I loved this townhouse, even though it had a small, awkward layout. Since I was the tallest (6'4) there was no doubt that I was going to be the one to climb the 5 foot ladder we had to hang the artwork. It was a stretch and a bit nerve racking but the effect was worth it.

I once had an interior designer tell me that blue and black never work together. I have used such a palette in a few properties now to appeal to a specific demographic and it is one of my favorite contemporary combinations.

Kathy N - at this point I think I am prepared to slip on some swim wear for Stager Idol. It would be simpler than writing an essay and preparing a presentation lol!

Janis G - Love it! How did you manage to get the rafia tied so perfectly? I find it amusing that the color of the soap award matches the photos.

Jennifer W -  I took the shots with my Kodak V570

Cheryl-Anne -  The photo you are reffering to is one of mine of a different property. Don't you just love it when you get multiple uses out of your inventory?! This is the shot with the same area rug and blue pillows...

Jackson - that is the photo I was referring to.  I just love the way the view from the window perfectly matches the blue in the cushions and carpet.  It is almost like a mural.

Jackson, when I first read the title of your blog I really thought Vancouver was changing their minds about staging and I started to panic!  What a great blog and love the pictures from that perspective.  Thanks for keeping me on my toes.  Betty

Jackson, I just love the overhead shots.  This is something I do as often as the setting allows.  By the way, great use of the Blues and Blacks.  This is not an easy one to pull off but you did it...

Stunning photos and amazing staging, Jackson!  Your ears must have been burning last week ... Christine Rae was singing your praises in our CSP class in California (and rightfully so!)  One question for you:  Is that a live tree?

Betty, like most of North America, sellers are changing their minds about staging. They realize that it is becoming almost crucial to stage their listings in order to get top dollar... phew!

Gary, a designer once told me that blue and black never work together. I was glad to prove her wrong on this property.

Maureen, I wouldn't be in this biz if it wasn't for Christine whom I greatly admire and adore. The tree is indeed faux ;-)

Karla, since the room is so small, I pretty much had to photograph it this way. Even with a wide angle lens I couldn't get back far enough to do the room justice.

Lisa, aww shucks! Will do.

Michelle, I loved this Townhouse and was staging it the same time they were filming "The Stagers" in a suite with a bridge view in the tower above.

Benita, Thank you for your kind words. I do take my own photos in fact I took more than 200 of this property. I now only take about 50 after shots now that I know how to finally work my camera ;-)

An interesting perspective on the way you photographed those rooms.  I might add that you did a superb job with the staging too.
