What is the formula for a winning listing presentation?
I have spent hours online today searching for a "how to" manual for creating a listing presentation. I'll save you the time and just tell you now that one just doesn't exist! I have an example of a listing presentation from my mentor. It is a simple packet of papers with an about me section, explanation of service, etc. I could imitate his and just make changes to make it fit me, my personality, and my services, but there's something inside of me that strives for more and wants to go above and beyond the norm. So I took it upon myself to search for new, fun, and unique ideas for a listing presentation. I don't know that I really found what I was looking for,but I did find some useful information.
Many of the seasoned agents out there probably already know about these things, but if not I am happy to show you something new!
I'll start with some of the websites I found.
www.zillow.com - Helps you estimate the value of homes. Also provides other helpful tools for you to provide great service to sellers and buyers.
www.vflyer.com - Here you can create a virtual flyer to use while marketing in online classifieds such as craig's list.
www.postlets.com - also helps you with the html for creating an ad on websites like craig's list.
www.futureofrealestatemarketing.com - This website was full of all kinds of information specifically for marketing real estate.
Another cool thing I found (and my favorite) is Microsoft Photo Story 3. You can go to www.microsoft.com and download this program for FREE! This program allows you to take pictures and create a slideshow out of them. You can add words and slide transitioning much like PowerPoint. You can zoom in and out and move from left to right to make it like a video. Then you can upload your video to www.youtube.com or another type of website like it and use it in your PowerPoint presentation. This allows you to have a video in yourr presentation. All you have to do to play the video in your presentation is press the button! This is a very simple and very professional way to present your listing presentation.
Hope you all find these things as useful and interesting as I did! Happy Exploring!
