Daytona 500 is just one of many great attractions in Florida

I attended the Daytona 500 last Sunday which was my first Nascar race.  This just happened to be the 50th anniversary of the Daytona 500.  Needless to say watching over 40 cars drive 190 plus MPH is pretty intense.  The amount of people that attend this event is around 250,000 which is amazing, the race track is so large you can barely see from one end to the other.  The only problem was the ability to exit the venue at the end of the race took 4 hrs because of a massive back up of people and traffic so prepare to be very patient when you leave if you ever attend the Daytona 500.  I think Florida is such a great place to live because there are so many great places to visit year round.  I live and sell Real Estate in Palm Beach Gardens and I am only 2 to 4 hrs to some of the most amazing places in the country such as: The Keys, Sanibel/Captiva Island St. Augustine, Daytona, Orlando, and the list goes on and on.  This is why I have no doubt there will always be a demand for Florida Real Estate.  Just not enough at the moment to absorb the 34,000 plus homes for sale in Palm Beach County alone! Oh well, this cycle will run its course like every cycle before it!  I am going to have a great year in 2008 and I hope you do to! Shannon Brink
