PhotoShop Tip: Adjust the indoor colors of your shots before you put them online

BEFORE

AFTER

This is a super fast and easy way to color correct your indoor pictures.  In PhotoShop, with the picture which needs adjusting opened on the screen,  choose the menu: IMAGE->ADJUSTMENTS->CURVES.

Now in the curves menu, look to the lower right corner.  See the 3 dropper tools?  The first is the black sampler, middle is 50% gray, and the last is a white sampler.

Choose the black sample and move it over to the picture.  In your picture, find a spot in the picture that should be completely black and click on it.

Choose the WHITE sampler and click on something in the picture that should be perfectly white.

That's it!  You've got your picture easily White/Black adjusted.  Sometimes I use the middle sampler if I have something in the picture that could be identified as that level of gray.
