Real estate heating and cooling problems

By

Do you really think it makes a difference in the quality of the showing of a home when the air and/or heat are off or are set at an unreasonable temperature for the weather?  Absolutely it does!

A prospective buyer will not stay in your home long enough to determine whether they like its floorplan if they are freezing.  They also will not stay, especially in Tucson and Southern Arizona, to see all the nice amenities of your home if they are sweating to death on one of our beautiful August days because there is too little or no cooling.

The temperature of your home is one of the easiest things you can do to enhance the showing of your home, especially in our Sonoran Desert climate.  You should always keep your thermostat at a comfortable setting.  It doesn't have to be "shorts and t-shirt" in the winter or "parka" in the summer, but it must be tolerable.

Sellers and their agents need to aware, especially in the Sonoran Desert weather - everything a person sees or FEELS when viewing a home is a part of the whole perception of the home.

I always make sure a home is comfortable before someone enters.  There is nothing worse than trying to look at a home that is too warm or cold.  I am amazed at how many I have gone into that are this way.
