Good topic. I have an office in Ocean City NJ that is on the inter-coastal. If anyone needs tips or advice about the inter-coastal from Cape May, NJ to Atlantic City, NJ I would be happy to help. We have been seeing some very good fishing so far this season.

Karen, first, welcome. Second, take some time and navigate through the Active Rain Network. Find some groups that interest you and post about what you have to offer - your community - your life, etc.
Hi Karen, I recommend that you go through the different groups and join the ones of interest to you. Check them on a regular basis and share your thoughts.
Karen - Good start -- my advice would be don't get caught up in the point system -- if you are looking to generate business from AR and blogging -- it is about quality not quantity -- you will go through a lot of blogs and people have post that have nothing to do with real estate -- that is great for AR's point system (200 pts for every blog post) but the most important thing is substance -- your post on AR get indexed in the search engines (Google, Yahoo, etc) this is what is important -- remember 80% of all people the buy real estate start their search on the web -- good quality post with substance get indexed higher with these search engines -- Good luck and GREAT start -- JE
