Microsoft's new interface and programs

By
Real Estate Agent with Waterfront Properties & Club Communities

I started using MS Windows prior to the release of Windows 3.0 years ago and their applications like Word, Excel and Powerpoint from way back.  With my background with computers many of my friends call upon me to assist them when they have questions with their computers and applications.

Well - I am really starting to worry!  It started with the release of MS Internet Explorer version 7 that has been nothing but trouble for so many people. I guess Microsoft finally decide that backwards compatitablity is no longer a goal. If I had a quarter for each agent and friend that has ask how to remove IE7 my MLS fees would be paid for years!

From there, the agents that have recently purchased new computers and are using the new MS Office versions have really create havoc.  Before you make the decision to upgrade - check with someone that is using the new versions to make sure you know what you are getting into.  The new interface maybe great long term, but for those of us that have become use to the MS interface - that experience is now just short of useless.  Try and find things with the new applications.  Arrrg!!!!

I hope you are all having better luck with the new releases than we are.

Take care and be slow in making the decision to change this time...

I tried to register a Trademark last week and after completing the entire form, I found that the U.S. TRADEMARK office doesn't support the use of IE7 for registration of Trademarket.

Geez ! ! !

Took 4 days to get a form faxed to me.
