Free wireless intenet in Miami Dade?

Our beautiful tropical climate makes many residents and visitors crave being outdoors. In Miami-Dade County, people can enjoy some of the areas best parks while taking advantage of the best technology - at the same time.  You can say it's the best of both worlds.

On February 1 Miami-Dade launched the Wireless Miami-Dade Pilot Project at Tropical Park.  The six-month pilot project, sponsored by Nortel, offers free wireless service.  In the coming weeks, three additional Miami-Dade County regional parks, with the assistance of additional vendors, will begin to offer free wireless service.  They include Tamiami Park (Motorola), Goulds Park (Wialan) and Amelia Earhart Park (Cisco). 

Kids no longer have to do their homework before they are allowed to go the park. Now, they can do their homework at the park.
