Has anyone ever done any Grocery Store Advertising?

By
Mortgage and Lending with Guaranteed Home Mortgage Company, Inc.

This week I was approached by a marketing company that wants me to advertise inside the local Kroger grocery store on a marketing board that will be inside the store located where customers enter the store. It will be a huge board that will have their daily discounted products, store map, etc. I have never done this and wonder if it is effective. It seems like it would be, but with funds tight this year I am carefully contemplating all dollars towards advertising. My ad would be 2ft x 2ft which is big. I think the exposure is great, the price is right, but has anyone found this to be effective or a waste?

Julie~I'm interested to see the responses here. I too was contacted this week to be their spotlighted Realtor for 1 year. The pricing didn't seem too bad, but when I walked into the store to see where the advertising was actually displayed, it was so far out of site that it wasn't going to be worth my $. Your groceyr store seems to be advertising in a much more visual way. Good luck with this and I wish for you great success.
