Step 1: Shameless Self Promotion

By
Real Estate Agent with RE/MAX

Let me explain who I am for all those wondering. I am a 28 year old RE/MAX Agent. I was born and raised in Mystic CT and spent only a few years away to obtain my bachelors degree in Business from Bryant College located in RI.

Following my graduation I embarked on a career as a professional poker player. I used my degree in business and Computer Information Systems to advertise for different poker rooms. As laws were changed I thought it was an excellent time to join the real estate industry.

Many veterans may think that was poor timing but I think the opposite. Having never seen the boom of the market I am perfectly willing to do the hard work it takes to obtain listings and actually go out and find buyers. Using a marketing plan that utilizes new prospecting tools like the internet and the tried and true ways of personal connections, I hope to continue to be successful.

Ok, I am not afraid to admit it. I am writing this blog so that more people will get to know and respect me. Then use me as their agent next time they buy or sell their home. My target areas are currently located in southeast Connecticut along the coast. I have lived in Mystic almost all my life and love the waterfront experience. I focus on Stonington, Groton, New London, Waterford, and East Lyme. There are a number of Beach Villages that I like such as Masons Island, Lords Point, Mystic, Noank, Groton Long Point, Niantic, Black Point and Giants Neck. I do a lot of work in North Stonington, Ledyard and Montville as well.

For all those looking for a "scratch my back and I will scratch yours" relationship, feel free to contact me and we can share links.

Very nice to meet you Greg, I am sure you will do well in real estate, you have a great attitude.  I too only started 2.5 years ago.  I never knew a "boom" so to me this is busy.  I cannot wait for it to become "on fire again" -  I believe if you use the interent to get yourself "googled searched" you will meet alot of local people, as well as "out of towners" - I just sold a home near the beach to internet surfers who had been looking for over a year, then went online and when they searched, I popped up.  Get e-PRO certfified, only 1% of 1 million realtors have this designation.  It shows your clients that you will go the extra mile.

Good Luck!
