Short Sales...It's a term many of us in the industry are very familiar with these days! But what about the consumer? As professionals, we have to do our best to educate consumers that this might be a possibility for them. Many people that go into foreclosure never even know that they may have been able to sell it for less than they owe. So why do we care? Well, first of all it is a business opportunity for us. BUT more importantly, it is an opportunity to prove that our profession truly cares about the best interest of the public. The advantages as far as a seller's credit repair options when they do a short sale rather than foreclosure are HUGE! We need to get the word out there...It's a win-win for everyone involved!
