Prospecting Success Anyone?

I am a real estate broker with a growing office of 13 agents.  We have prelicense classes all the time, even in this market, so we constantly have new agents.  I am currently teaching/coaching them on prospecting and we are all getting back to basics.  Just wondering what types of social groups have been successful for prospecting real estate clients.  I personally have prospected to my church and a bowling league.  Since I am currently a non competing broker, I am wondering what types of social groups are  hot right now for prospecting?  I am thinking, PTA or school groups maybe even weight watchers.  Anyway if you have any ideas, let me know.  Thanks.

The very best social group is your sphere of influence.  They are the people that know and love you and they should be your biggest fan.  Contact them regularly and ask for referrals.  Make sure that you reward them when they give referrals.  Once you teach them how to give you referrals, you will have plenty of business.  For every twelve people that you know and work, there will be 2 deals each year!!!  Good Luck
