What do you say when they ask you about market conditions?

Latly many people ask me how is the market?  I think its slow but OK.  That is what I tell them.  Is there any way to make this seem more positive?  My market is OK but the houses our sitting longer on the market then they used too.  The truth is if you price your home well they do sell.  How would you answer the question of How is the market?

I also sometimes say it is a great time to buy and a bad time to sell.

Debbie, you answered your own question, ". . . .if you price your home well they do sell." Don't believe what you read or hear on the news, if it is priced right and shows well, it will sell.

Good Post!

Every market is good for someone, and this market is good for buyers.   That said, homes are selling every day.  We had one that sold in under 30 days last November.(true story)  Now, more than ever, you need an agent who knows the market and how to best showcase your home.
