High Dynamic Range (HDR) Photography Group

This group is dedicated to using the new cameras, tools, and software to extend the range of exposure and color known as HDR. So, what should you post to the group?

  1. Questions or problems relating to any HDR photography issues, including how to do it
  2. Information about techniques, tips, equipment, marketing strategies, etc.
  3. Your pictures! (Just make sure that they are either HDR photos or are being used to compare with your HDR shots with ground-level shots.)

We recommend that you post to the Photography Group and also include this group.  By so doing, we'll create a growing repository for just the HDR materials.  We look forward to your participation.

IF YOU HAVE ADDITIONAL LINKS, please post them as comments and we will incorporate them into the list.

Wow, this blog post is almost 2.5 years old!  I'm surprised more people haven't jumped on the HDR bandwagon by now.  Sure, there is a steep learning curve but the benefits it offers interior photography are numerous.  On the other hand, the longer it takes for agents in my area to adapt the longer I keep my competitive edge...

John,

Although this listing is 2.5 years old I really want to jump in with my 2 cents.  If you go to the other posting and look at the HDR work that was posted, you will get a clear idea of how over done can get.  HDR is great stuff but in the wrong hands it will scare your clients.  Not to mention any perspective buyers.

See this listing below.

ActiveRain Opinion Pole : Do you Like HDR photography or is it going too far, and too surreal?
