Is it Sunday or Monday for you?

By
Real Estate Agent with Windermere

I don't know about you, but if your job makes it seem like your Monday is like your Sunday, you must be a real estate agent. I would guess that lots of people who work in the normal 9-5/M-F job world, you might spend Sunday thinking about what you should/could do on Monday. I always ask myself, what could/should I have done on Sunday to be more productive? what could I have done different? Did I try hard enough to get the customers name and contact info? Did I push to hard and seem desperate to get that info? ( I am usually to passive, so I don't worry too much about pushing to hard). Anyway, do any of you feel the same way? or is it just me?

I try to give myself at least one day every week to completely disconnect.... It's not always Sunday though!

My Mondays are my Sundays.  The weekends are always busy between work and the kids.  I look forward to mondays.  I still work on Mondays but at a slower pace.  I try to get all the paperwork done and work on calls and emails.  Its rare that I do showings.

Jonelle, I am trying to do open houses every Sunday, so my day is usually Friday or Sat. Hence the Sunday/Monday comp. Either way, it seems everyday is busy :-)

Chad, you're house sounds just like mine!

I don't know as it relates to any special day, for me.  I tend to have clients or properties come to mind as I'm going to sleep.

I often second guess my days.  I just know that I try to maximize my time and energy.

Sunday is my day to prepare. It doesn't always happen that way, but that is the plan. And days off, usually as the schedule allows or when my kids are off. The beauty of working for yourself.
