Here's an idean I got from Tim Braheem at loantoolbox.com that I have used for some amazing success. Here's the drill to get your phone ringing!! Each and every day I put two blank note cards on my desk. Every day it is my job to personally handwrite two note cards to someone. Often I just go through my database and send a card to one of my past clients in an effort to nurture that relationship.
These note cards, are simple postcards that I have printed up. The reason for using handwritten note cards is to continue to communicate with people and develop deeper relationships. The inherent message is "friend" not "business." It takes about 30 seconds, and you can do this while you are on hold with a title company, underwriter or appraiser.
The result is compelling. Let's do the math: Two cards a day, every day equals ten cards each week. This adds up to 520 cards per year.
Imagine what the results would be if you sent out 520 personalized note cards to the various people in your database over the course of 12 months. What kind of an impact would this have on the number of referrals you get in return? How much deeper would your relationships be with your existing client base?
