"Contrary to published reports, Mr. Jackson was never in default of the loan. Mr. Jackson is in the final stages of refinance and will not lose Neverland Valley Ranch."

That's the post on the MJFC (Michael Jackson Fan Club). They better get themselves out of the ether. The Ranch is due to go to sale at the end of March.

Well we know he can afford it, so why would he lose it???? I guess I live in never-never land because I had not heard anything about him losing it. Not that I would really have reason to care, but it seems silly when he has no reason to be losing it, money isn't an issue for him.

I'm not sure, but I do remember his borrowing a lot of money to purchase the Beatles music rights. He and Paul McCartney had a riff because Paul said he was trying to buy back the rights and Michael went behind his back and purchased the rights. Probably a good business move, but not a nice thing to do. What goes around comes around...
