teaching buyers

By
Real Estate Broker/Owner with weichert realtors craven&company
while buyers of real estate are reading new papers and watching tv ,beleive they can just steal houses with low offers. we as realtors really need to our job and educate them. if a house is truely price to sell at the right price. we need to tell them that a low offer is only going to make the seller made and their offer will in most cases be rejected. with a counter . this only slows down the process of buying home and they risk not getting the home they want. we need to run our p.t.a. s and let our buyers see them so that they can make an offer that will be repected. yes we are in a buyers market but its not a giveaway store .

Hi alveron,

That is so true.  The buyers today think that they should get a steal at any price.  It is up to us to explain with comparable sales, that when a house is priced right you can't try to steal it.  We have our work cut out for us, but if the buyer is reasonable they will see it.

Great blog.

Have a successful week.
