The local RE/MAX First, Inc. office in Port Townsend is seeing a definite increase in showing activity and written offers. Many of the clients have traditionally looked to Port Townsend, Kala Point, Cape George and Port Ludlow for second, or pre-retirement homes and the trend continues. Port Townsend is a popular destination for both, because of the proximity to the greater metro area of Seattle, while still preserving the authentic lively and culturally active community that is so popular.
