Are inspections really that important? I believe that the answer is yes. There are many types of inspections and many types of homes. Unless your a handyman type of person I would suggest at least a generalized inspection such as the Whole House Inspection. Maybe they don't specialize in lets say the roof but they can atleast tell you if there is a leak (most of the time). What do you think?

Must agree with Heather...If you're not recommending inspections with a handful or really good inspectors numbers at hand, you're just asking for a really big problem. I tell Buyers it's not another opportunity to re-negotiate, it's a chance to get a an owners guide to you new home. If we find a big issue we didn't expect to find, we can try to negotiate.

We now have forms for clients to sign if they are declining inspections such as plumbing etc.

I believe that inspections are very important. Shame on the agent that does not express that to their clients.
