Existing-home sales eased a bit while prices stabilized as inventories tightened in December making 2006 the third-highest sales year on record.
Home sales remain historically high, despite all of the doom-and-gloom stories and dire predictions over the last year.
We're also begining to see a tightening of the home inventory which will continue to support prices. Although there is still a 6-month inventory of homes available, we're beginning to see more sold than are being added to the market. We also expect to see an increase in buyer demand as we approach spring.
