Two weeks ago, I had number 1 and 3 ranking on google when you typed: Lawrence Virtual Tour as keywords.

Today, I am number 17! what happened???

Luckily Real Tour Vision, had published Lawrence Virtual Tour Company Press Release , on February 26th, and that is currently number one on Google!

The moral is that it takes a lot of efforts to be first and stay first on search engine optimization. Active Rain will help real estate agents finding me, especially those working in Douglas County.

Yeah, Staying on top means working relentlessly to keep position, especially if you have a very compettious keyword.

It happens alot you have to really schedule time daily to keep your site on top or you will slip down

I agree with you Kate. It is up and down and requires a lot of work to stay on top. I see the same up and down movements in my ranking as well. Just hang in there and keep up the good work. I'm sure you will soon see a rise again.

It is a lot of work to stay on top I've once lost my page ranking from the first page to the fourth page of the google search. Then you have to keep up with all the search engines and make sure your rank stays high with all of them. But it just another day in the office, like the results internet marketing brings to my business. Active Rain is also a powerful tool in your marketing toolbox.

Hi Kate.

SEO and SERP is a very hard thing to stay on top of, but with some work you definately can stay #1 on Google. There are a few things I notice when I visit your site, that are quick and easy fixes that will boost your serp rankings. #1 you should change the titles of all your pages and make them all GEO coded or Geographical like Lawrence Virtual Tours or Virtual Tours in Lawrence Kansas, and so on, but make every page something a little differrent. Also you have no meta tags or any robots txt file for the spiders to follow, these should all be added into your HTML source code. If you are not sure how to do these things you should work with a web designer or SEO professional. Also you should download and watch the to RTV webinars on SEO I believe they are #8 and #14. These will cover these 2 suggestions I mentioned as well as some other things that will help you rank #1 in the serps. Good Luck and keep doing great tours.
