Our company Fowler Realty is thinking about taking on new agents for the first time.

What do agents look for in choosing a real estate company?

Here is a list of items that we think are important.

1. Broker Support

2. Commercial Building / Agent Desk

3. Business marketing (newspapers, tv, ect...)

4. Company pays for agents E & O Insurance

5. Commission Splits

6. Company Website / Personal Agent Website

7. Community knowledge of Company

Any other comments or ideas?

I think broker support is key for someone new in the business. As a new agent you need a broker that will support & guide you in the right direction.

I think training is important. Tell them how you will train them in the interview, thats all I cared about when I was looking for a position as an LO, and I found the perfect company (but that might what be what you consider broker support).
