Wow.  Beautiful post, Margaret.  I love the photos.  One of the things that's drawing us back to NC is the ability to be on the water.  We bought a portion of an old farm that sits on deep water and I'm looking forward to being able to walk out the back door and across the lawn to our boat.  Really nice job on this blog!

Jesse & Kathy - Somehow I got carried away with this... Didn't really intend to go into this much detail!  Oh well!

Nestor & Katerina - I agree, it is great.  That may find itself in another post some day.

Margaret, living on the water is a dream for many buyers.  Anne Arundel County offers many an opportunity to do so for relatively reasonable prices compared to some other areas of the country.  Boat owners and water sports enthusiasts will especially appreciate this information.

Brian - It is an amazing area to live, but I must say the price tag for being on the water vs. across the street is pretty hefty!

True... but if you use that water, it's worth every nickle... all 5 Billion of them. LOL

Jesse & Kathy - You're right!  Growing up near the water, I take it for granted - a golf course view appeals to me just as much, and it's less expensive.  LOL

I would think GC lots are easier to come by as well.  What does a typical course lot go for?

Jesse & Kathy - We don't really have any lots for sale along golf courses.  Typically, golf courses are developed simultaneously with a community, about the same time as it is built.  In Crofton, you can find a home on a golf course lot starting in the mid-upper 400,000's.

Edgewater Glebe Bay

Margaret, we have a rustic cottage 1br/1ba on Glebe Bay with 120' waterfront and deep water pier, 3 lots.  We live out of state now and its becoming very difficult to manage the rental.  The cottage could be lived in as is with a little clean-up, expanded or torn down and a bigger house rebuilt.  Lots are about 40' above sea level.  Georgeous location.  What is the market right now (June 2008), we might be interested in selling. Kathy
