Education, family, arts and crafts, biking, kayaking, music, and just simply walking and enjoying the waters of Mobile Bay is what matters to people here in Fairhope, Alabama. As a client once said, "even though the cars are fancy, the people aren't" and "we love being able to enjoy the beauty of the beach and the friendly downtown businesses all in the same walk".  Those interested in Fairhope AL Real Estate should also know that downtown Fairhope is the location of many music festivals, art walks, and fine dining restaurants where people greet one another with that southern, friendly charm.

With bright flowers and beautiful brick walkways, downtown Fairhope, Alabama is a delight for those sight seeing. Commonly known to locals as the "fruit and nut section", Fairhope has many fruit and nut trees for all to enjoy.  Voted the top 10 most romantic escapes by Coastal Living Magazine, Fairhope is truly a desirable community in which to relocate or to retire.

Recently called "one of the country's best kept surprises" in a 2007 edition of Coastal Living magazine, Fairhope, Alabama was founded in 1894 as a single tax colony by a group of economists. Fairhope, Alabama is one of two single tax colonies remaining in the United States.  The purpose of forming this new colony was to establish a model colony free from all forms of private monopoly. This single tax colony still exists today to retain the value of the land for the community.

Owners of Fairhope AL Real Estate are very excited to live in a place where life is worth living. They also love the fact that areas such as Mobile, AL, Pensacola, FL, and the "Big Easy", New Orleans, are so easily accessible.  When asked by former clients as to why they chose Fairhope, AL for their retiring or relocation destination, they gave me several answers, one being "Fairhope is a city where you can be anything you want to be and you will be warmly welcomed".
