RECHARGEABLE BATTERY USERS - BEWARE

Greetings from the beautiful Northern California city of Oroville. A prominent member of our local board recently shared a very scary occurrence. She uses rechargeable batteries (as many of us do) and had left them in the charger longer than the recommended time. (my Duracell NiMH type recommend <6 hours) They exploded and one lit across the room on a paper bag that caught fire. If her son had not been home from school on break, her beautiful new home would have burned to the ground. Please, for your protection do not exceed recommended charge time. See Ya! Tony in Oroville
