New January Vail Valley Statistics

•-         January sales figures in Eagle County in total sales volume is $124,253,400.

•-         The number of residential sales totaled $106,413,200 over 79 transactions.

•-         January residential sales totaled $106,43,200 over 79 transactions.

•-         Commercial sales in January totaled $17,840,000 over 25 transactions

•-         January had an average residential transaction price of $1,347,003 with a median transaction price of $733,950.

•-         January had 34 single family home transactions for a total dollar volume $50,509,600 and an average sales price of $1,485,576.

•-         January had 8 residential vacant land transactions for a total dollar volume of $4,504,600 and an average sales price of $563,100.

•-         January residential transactions in Eagle County break down as follows: 33% under $500,000 with 26 transactions; 30% $500,001 to $1 million with 24 transactions, 10% $1,000,001 to $1,500,000 with 8 transactions, 10% 1,500,001 to $2 million with 8 transactions, 17% over $2 million with 13 transactions.

•-         January transactions over $2 million breakdown:
$2,000,001 to $2,500,000 = 4 transactions;  $2,500,001 to $3,000,000 = 2 transactions;  $3,000,001 to $3,500,000 = 1 transaction;  $3,500,001 to $4,500,000= 0 transactions;  $4,500,001 to $5,000,000 - 1 transaction;  over $5 million = 5 transactions.

•-         Eagle had the largest number of transactions in January with 15; Beaver Creek was second with 10.

•-         Commercial improved property had 6 transactions for a total dollar volume of $520,250 and an average sales price of $86,708.
