Let the Sunshine In

By
Real Estate Agent with St. Charles County, Missouri - Prudential Alliance Realtors

When preparing to show your home, make sure all the windows are clean - inside and out, remembering to open the drapes and blinds.  Let the sunshine in!  Some homes are dark and depressing with heavy drapes drawn.  If it's dark outside, turn on all the lights in every room.  Use the highest recommended wattage allowed in your light fixtures.  Warm and bright is better than cold and dark.  Remember, you want people to feel comfortable and relaxed in your home - not looking for the exit.

Great post! There's nothing like letting the light shine in. I make this suggestion to my listing clients as often as needed. Happy spring!
