Brilliant News for Our Texas Veterans

By

I was happy to read today that the Texas Veterans Land Board voted recently to raise the cap on veterans home loans to $325,000 from $240,000.  Awesome!  I'm naturally excited, I live and work in San Antonio a place with many active and retired military personnel, heck that's how I landed here in the first place, many many moons ago, married to an active duty Airforce Tech Seargant.  I bought my first house with a VA loan and back then, (and I'm not going to say how far back then) it was for a lot less.  It's great working with Veterans active and retired, and I believe this will enable many more of them to take advantage of this wonderful benefit. All I can say is, you deserve it and a whole lot more!!

This is great as I used to sell to tons of military in Clovis NM way back when.  Hopefully the cap was raised for all and not just Texans!  Will have to check as I haven't done one here in Orlando for 10 years until we had a request this weekend!

As well they should. Anyone that is willing to go to war for this country deserves to get special treatment. Our vets deserve it!

I believe the increase actually went into effect last year.  FHA limits have gone up as well, but Dallas county is still a higher FHA limit than Tarrant County (Ft. Worth).

This is just  for Texas Veterans see TVLB, here in Texas as well as VA guaranteed loans we have ones for Texas Veterans, check out the above website. I get a weekly rate sheet from them and this week the base rate  on loans with terms greater than 15 years is 6.12% so for our Texas Veterans using this program it is a great benefit trust me.
