The State or City with the Lowest Priced Homes in the United States!

Real Estate Agent with Lucky Star Realty

I am putting together a survey for one of my clients who wants to move to the state with the lowest priced homes in the United States.  Does anyone out there know which state this is?  I did some research and found that Texas has some nice homes priced in the $80,000-$150,000 price range.  Can anyone beat that?  If your state has the lowest priced homes in the country, shoot me an email or comment on this post and I will send my client your way!

Of course, there are many factors to think about besides just the price of the homes, there are also things like the local economy, crime rate, schools, taxes, what kinds of jobs there are available, are there parks, shopping, entertainment, etc.?  So if you think you live in the state or city with the lowest home prices in the country and the best place to live, then let me know.

Lucky - I am in Texas and I haven't heard about too many (desirable) areas with lower prices than ours.  If your client decides to come to Austin, I would love the opportunity to help.

Ok I have to admit that the Louisville Ky area, say the south end or Bullitt county is very resonable, lower cost of living and its a really great place to live, small town atmosphere in a big city market.
