Much has been said about The Power of Positive Thinking by Norman Vincent Peale. Others believe that vocalizing positive thinking along with positive feelings helps to translate those thoughts into actions. Furthermore, those actions can accumulate to produce positive results. Napoleon Hill also speaks of directing one's mental attitude on a positive path to help reap positive outcomes in life. Often writing down and speaking with conviction one's goals in life is helpful in motivating us to take those necessary actions to generate positive change.
Writing down and speaking affirmative statements, affirmations, can be helpful for anyone in sales or any other vocation or career. We often can develop our own affirmations to suite our unique situations in life. However, the following are just some examples that may have more universal appeal:
1) With love and gratitude, I am highly successful and satisfied with my profession!
2) I genuinely appreciate new and repeat clients and customers in my life!
3) Every day I am becoming even more successful in my business and personal life!
4) Open to learning new things, I gratefully am growing and already becoming a better
person!
5) Listening is one of my strongest skills, and I am improving my listening skills with people
every day!
6) Maintaining a positive attitude is helping me is all areas of my life!
7) With love and gratitude, I fully allow, accept, attract and know the good in everyone and
everything everywhere I am and go!
8) Every day I am allowing, accepting, and attracting positive experiences in my life resulting
from my positive and uplifting attitude that I share with others!
9) My work is a labor of love for me, and I greatly enjoy helping people!
10) My growing compassion and understanding of others help me be a much better person!
The use of affirmations can vary. One practice that I use in my personal affirmations is: A) speaking the affirmations with positive feeling, B) speaking the affirmations as if the action already is occuring---using verbs in the present rather than future tense, and C) say the affirmations three times aloud, and then end with saying: "Thank you Universe (or God)! Thank you for that! And so it is!"
By using the power of positive thinking, affirmations, and positive visualization, we often can help ourselves feel more motivated to take the actions we need to take in order to experience more positive results!
Best wishes on your positive path in life---and with using affirmations!
