Hi there,
This is my first blog - ever! I am excited about learning a whole new medium!
I work with Chris Grumley at Florida Eye Tours. I moved to beautiful Anna Maria Island last year, and spent a lot of time scouring the Internet for a new home for my family. I did not realize at the time that I was gaining valuable experience (and opinions) that would serve me well today.
After settling into my new hometown, Chris approached me about joining the Florida Eye Tours team. After checking out his virtual tours online, I was very relieved to see how great they were. :) I was happy to come onboard, especially since I had so recently been a consumer, and knew how much I valued virtual tours from that end. When searching for my new home, I found it so much easier when listings had virtual tours, because it gave me the chance to see right away if a listing had real potential for me. I find myself wanting to share this perspective with realtors today.
I have learned so much about virtual tours in the meantime, and see so many more marketing benefits for realtors. I know that the real estate market has seen better days, but all the more reason I see realtors benefiting from virtual tours. I know that they offer far more exposure for a listing than I realized when I was looking at them. Florida Eye Tours has spent much of the recent past doing commercial work, and hopes to enjoy more growth with the rebounding real estate market.
I guess my biggest thing is, I am interested in finding out what realtors see as the stumbling blocks for using virtual tours. From my end, I see the boundless possibilities for excellent exposure and the ability for realtors to maximize their time. I also see the consumer's perspective of ease and enjoyment. I am curious to learn the other perspective, so I can better know how to optimize this fabulous marketing tool for our clients. Please let me know what you think.
Thanks...I look forward to learning much from you all ! :)
-Erin
