A fantastic millworks shop in New Orleans - Central City Millworks

Now that you've bought a piece of New Orleans real estate, who do you call to help you with your millworks needs? Central City Millworks, that's who! I recently had the pleasure of working with Hal Collums and Leah Collums over at Central City Millworks and was blown away! They could have the best New Orleans Millworks operation out there. A real estate client of mine needed door casings, base boards, and crown molding for his new house and we contacted Central City Millworks. They came out virtually immediately to his Uptown New Orleans home with a professional, no-nonsense attitude and delivered on every promise they made. The woodworking was top of the line of the highest quality workmanship.

Their shop, conveniently located in Central City New Orleans is absolutely incredible. It is a seemingly endless workshop with state of the art machines and it can create almost anything. Custom cabinets, wood flooring, molding, shutters, windows, you name it and they can probably make it! The shop is also "green." They use reclaimed wood from old buildings that have been deconstructed. What about all of the sawdust? They donate it to Louisiana SPCA's Rescue Ranch and other area stables. So not only will they provide you with a fantastic product, but they are also helping out the environment as well!

They also operate a New Orleans Millworks blog.
