In case you haven't heard, the very first Hard Rock Theme Park will be opening on June 2, 2008 in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina! The first (and only) theme park of its kind will feature thrill rides, live shows, an amphitheatre, and music-themed attractions.

To celebrate this historic event, organizers have planned a massive opening ceremony, featuring two days of concerts and a celebrity golf tournament! Opening the event will be legendary rock band, The Eagles; the following day, The Moody Blues will commemorate the opening of the dark psychedelic ride, "Nights in White Satin - The Trip", that they inspired.

We went to a Stones concert and all we could see was a sea of bald heads in front of us!

Christopher, I visited the Hard Rock Park Sneak Preview Area when I was there in the spring and it really looks like it is going to be something special. The Eagles? Glad to hear it, I just may need to get tickets to that and check out the park. Thanks for the update!

NIGHTS IN WHITE SATIN THE TRIP SOUND LIKE A REALLY WEIRD RIDE.I THINK THAT THE RIDE IS GOING TO BE DONE IN 3D.I THINK THERE USING THE CHROMADEPTH 3D IDEA FOR THIS DARK RIDE.ALSO WITH SURROUND SOUND AND OTHER SPECIAL EFFECTS. I ALSO READ SOME WHERE THAT THEY MAY EVEN THINK OF BUILDING A DARK RIDE BASED ON THE ROCK SINGER ALICE COOPER.HMM MAYBE WELCOME TO MY NIGHTMARE.THAT WOULD BE CREEPY.
