An example of Poor Realtor Etiquette

Today I received a call from another Realtor while I was out showing some clients a home.  His message went something like this:

"Hi Scott this is Lame Realtor here, I was at 123 Main Street and I had to take down my Condo Board for Sale Sign, yours was underneath so I had to cut the Plastic Straps off and I didnt have any to put it back up so I left it on the ground beside the post, sorry about that."

Lets put this in perspective, there is a hardware store less than a mile from this building where you can purchase plastic ty-wraps 'a-plenty', almost all Realtors in the area are using plastic straps now (including him) and he didnt have the courtesy or the insight to go purchase and have on hand a package of straps for just such situations.  He made a special trip to take his sign down, but not one to buy the straps.  He expects me to make a special trip, out of my way to re-attach my sign because it is inconvenient for him to do it himself.

I havn't phoned him back yet and really I dont know if a call to him is going to change the world for the better but at least I can vent here out in The Rain.
