Western New York is an amazing place to live if you like to eat. Friday Fish Fry is another regional favorite food. Need an idea where to go for Fish Fry? The local tv station has an interactive map for Western New Yorkers to find Fish Fry's.

So you are looking for a place for fish fry there are a whole bunch of choices on the interactive map.

So where did this tradition come from? Well Western New York has a strong Catholic community and during Lent No Meat on Friday's -- Fish Fry's became a popular tradition.

Almost every restaurant in WNY has a Fish Fry and they all claim that they have the best... I would write more, but it is time to head to dinner at one of my favorite places for Fish Fry in Western New York...

HEY! The VFW's and Eagles Club's right here in Michigan do a mean Friday Night Fish Fry too! (We got alot of catholic's here too - seems like more of them on Friday!)

Colleen fish and chips is one of my favorite meals, and the best fish and chips that I have had is at Horton's in East Providence, RI. No one else's comes close :)
