I lost all my Yahoo links today!!!! I had 114 of them yesterday!!!!!

I really don't get it.  I have been linking and blogging.  originally I did it as another form of advertising but I have learned a lot.  My Google and yahoo ranking increased.  Especially the Yahoo.  Then it dropped.. I disappeared again.  I then started rising again slowly.  I was impressed.  Then just as I thought I figured it out all my yahoo links and ranking went away.  Now if you type Boise real estate market .  I just don't appear except on msn.  It's google and yahoo I need.   My husband, Randall Holmes is a math professor with a edu website and he won't link to my webpage or my blog.  This is really annoying.  I tried to get another webpage, debbieholmes.directhomes.com.  It has some cool features but I am the only one there and it takes time to optimize.  By the way the more I optimize my websites the lower my google and yahoo ranking.  Do they notice my efforts and delete me or something?  I am a good real estate agent in the treasure valley of Idhao.

What blogging has done for me.   It has given me great ideas on how to sell and market real estate.  It has given me support when I am down.  It has given me answers when I have questions.  I sell real estate in the normal manner but I have trained myself to handle and negotiate short sales with the help of two classes, 3 mentors, some help from activerain, and a lot of hard work and experience.   I have tried to share this with other real estate professionals and consumers. I also have a place to let off steam.  Such as my article of using your house as a piggybank.  I have advertised my beautiful city, Boise, ID. I have advertised my listings (I won't link to those).  I went into withdrawal yesterday when activerain went down.  I also found that others reacted the same way.

So what ever happens to my rankings I am going to keep blogging.  See you on line.

Google and Yahoo will punish you for black hat SEO, but the definition of black hat keeps changing, so I will work on my SEO, but I concentrate in finding ways for clients to find me online. Blogging seems to be the best.

It is key to make sure you are being back-linked by relevant websites.  For instance, if you had too many sites like your husband's math education website linking to your site, it will actually hurt your ranking because Google would see your site as less relevant to real estate.
