May is the annual Blue Crab Festival in Little River SC

Real Estate Agent with Weichert Realtor's Southern Coast

The Little River Blue Crab Festival is an annual event that takes place along the historic waterfront in scenic Little River South Carolina.

Although the Blue Crab Festival has become recognized as one of the Myrtle Beach area's most popular festivals, the town of Little River is quite different than Myrtle Beach, the flashy tourist town about twenty miles to the south.

In 2008, the blue crab festival will celebrate its 27th year. The popular festival was started over a quarter of a century ago by Little River locals and businesses along the scenic waterfront, and as the largest event in Little River, it has continued to grow in number of attendees and popularity with each passing year.

The original purpose of the festival was to preserve and maintain the bucolic atmosphere of the waterfront area of Little River, and this aim continues to be the driving force behind the annual festival.

When you finish feasting on the wonderful crabs- let me show you what value is in Myrtle Beach Real Estate and the surrounding areas. Give me a call and I will be happy to show you what a great investment you can make for your family in Myrtle Beach.

I love the blue crabs that are on the East Coast.  Myrtle Beach sounds like a happening place.

Ok, Debra.  Thanks a lot.  Now you've made me hungry!  :)  Some friends of my in-laws in NC have a blue crab farm where they raise the little fellows by the thousands... and man oh man are they good.

Debra - That sounds like fun,  really love eating crabs.  I guess part of the fun is having to pick it apart.
