How many of you folks would like to jump into the icy waters of Pelican Lake tomorrow morning for Special Olympics? Many hardy souls in the Brainerd Lakes area will be at the lake early for the Polar Plunge. You can register anytime between 9-11 am to take the plunge and help this worthy cause. You will be jumping into 5 feet of icy cold crystal clear water that is covered with a layer of 2-3 feet of ice. No problem, right. The kickoff will be shortly after breakfast at the Breezy Point Resort. We know how to have fun in lake-country. Last year these brave souls raised over $40,000. I will try and post some photo's from the party. For the record it was -24 degree's earlier today. Have a great weekend.
