Didn't We Just Fall Back?

Tonight before I go to bed, I need to remember to set my clocks forward an hour. It's time to "spring forward".

What has me really confused is that we just moved the clocks back an hour a couple months ago. I think someone out there is laughing as we turn up to church at the wrong time twice a year. Are we saving fuel?

At least the clocks change on Sundays. Pastors, Rabbis and Priests are probably a little more forgiving than some of the bosses out there.

The other good news is that the changing time announces the coming spring. Boy, am I ready!

Jennifer- This seems to be happening quicker than I would have expected it! Just like Christmas seems to come about every eight months or so! ;) I, for one, will be very happy to welcome Spring! Love the snow, that's why I live here, but we have had snow on the ground since before Christmas, and I would love to see some green!!! Thanks for the reminder about the clocks!!!

We've been having one of our snowiest winters EVER here in southern Ontario and everyone here is looking forward to spring too.

The time changes do seem strange this year, don't they? Oh well, at least it will be daylight a bit later now....or it will seem so due to the clock adjustments.

Kim- I can't wait until the bulbs start making their way out. I know my trees are blooming, but I think we are due to get a little snow tonight.

Duane- It's actually been a pretty mild winter for us here in Denver, but I'm still glad spring is almost here. Hopefully the buyers are close behind.

Charlie, I hate all those things too, but I have to admit that root canals take the cake for the most unpleasant things in your list.

Debbie, I don't know anymore what the clock schedule is. I'm confused and my electronic gadgets with clocks are too.

Elaine- It seems like I was just writing my Christmas and New Year's posts. Where does the time go?

Lindsey- A couple years ago I was planning on checking out condo and townhome models and forgot to change the time. I had time to waste and found a townhome in an area I would not have looked. My investor loves it. :)

Jo-Anne- Spring is my favorite time of year. It feels like I'm leaving hibernation. We had our tough winter last year so this one wasn't too bad. I hope the snow melts quickly for you!

Dena- I do wish they would just leave it. On the radio I heard that Benjamin Franklin was the first one to suggest the change of time. It's been around a long time. Maybe we should reconsider.

Y'all can thank Congress. Making Daylight Savings Time begin earlier was part of "energy" legislation they enacted a little while back. You're not imagining it...DST starts a full 3 weeks earlier this year than prior to Congress's actions. Last year was the first year it went into effect.

Thanks for the reminder Jennifer. And it's good to see you. I'm still settling in to North Carolina but get back to Denver often to stage houses and work with clients.
