Yes, you can imagine the pressure:) Buff's favorite holiday, the Coach is from Ireland! He even runs a contest among us Clubnetters, just to see how competitive and resourceful we can be. This year, I have a goal of 100 popbys for this holiday. I have given out 20 so far. I wrap them up and label them at night, place them in a big box, and then place the box in the back of my Toyota 4 Runner for delivery the next day. While I am out and about, whether doing errands, showing homes or taking a listing, I am sure to keep aware of my clients and contacts that are nearby. Sometimes they are home, and sometimes the popby is left beside their door. I follow-up in the early evening with those who were not home, to make sure they found it. My popby gift this St. Patrick's Day is a small pot of shamrocks. I wrap it in green, white and purple tissue paper and place it in a gift bag. I have a tagline, Tis' a good life, thank you for your referrals that continue to help me grow. I have had good feedback. I try to do something different every month, every year. My clients never know what to expect!
The key is not the gift. It is your thoughtfulness, care and time spent, for and with, your clients and contacts. Show them you care, give them a call, stop by and see them. Be sure to pass to them, one of your cards and remind them that you value them and their referrals.
