As of the end of business on Saturday, March 8th there were 458 homes for sale on the Wasatch Front MLS in Tooele County. Ninety nine per cent of those Homes or Condominiums are in either Tooele City, Stansbury Park, Erda, or Grantsville Ut. This doesn't include new construction projects (New Homes, Townhomes, or Condos) like you find located around Bensons Mill. Also the MLS only lists a few of the FSBOs (for sale by owner) houses.
Besides checking to see what homes were available for sale I wanted to keep my Real Estate clients informed about what had happened over the last 7 days. Heres what I found out.
Only 15 of the 458 houses or condos listed in Tooele, Stansbury Park, or Grantsville are "Bank Owned" or "short Sales".
During the last 7 days, Real Estate Agents have listed 52 homes on the MLS.
None of those New Home Listings were "Bank Owned" or "Short Sales".
Fourteen new Real Estate sales contracts were written. Two were "Short Sales".
The median price of the homes put under contract was $154,900.
Ramblers were the most popular house, 10 of 14 were Rambler Homes.
Average price of the new contracts for homes sales was $162,214.
Ten homes or condos were closed in Tooele, Stansbury Park, or Grantsville Ut over the last 7 days.
