Summer Horns Concert with Dave Koz and Mindi Abair will be in Austin
Summer Horns jazz tour will be in Austin Texas on Saturday August 24, 2013. There are two shows scheduled that evening with the first starting at 7PM and the late show at 9PM. The concert is being held at One World Theatre 7701 Bee Cave Rd, Austin TX. 78746. Tickets are $70/$95/$110 per person.
The Summer Horns jazz music festival consists of Dave Koz, Mindi Abair, Gerald Albright and Richard Elliot. Mindi is my cousin. She is a great musician, performer and person. The tour coincides with the release of this group's new CD titled “Summer Horns”. This CD was number 1 for the first two weeks after its initial release on Billboard Magazine Contemporary Jazz Charts. This week it is shown as number two jumping up from last week being number five.
We have seen Mindi play several times and if you like jazz and both of us really do then I think you will really enjoy hearing the Summer Horns concert. Check it out if you are in Austin. The tour has several other cities on its stop list.
