Open House unexpected guest -Deer

Okay an Open House is an event where unexpected visitors do show up.

Yesterday my Open House was going well, agents came by to checkout the new listing, and  they all commented on the lovely backyard.   Just before  the Open House  ended I looked outside  and saw I had some unusual visitors, a family of  deer.  Unfortunately I did not have any refreshment  for them, however they were quite  contend hanging out in the lovely backyard.

From the moment I say this house I knew one of the obvious feature was the backyard.   Now when I talk about the backyard, I can truly say, relax on the deck, listen to the birds and be delighted by any other creatures of nature crossing the backyard.

You never know what unexpected guest will show up.

Since I had my camera in hand I was able to capture a few shots which will help me to feature the back yard.

My only regret was that I was not able to get a close-up of my unexpected guests.

If you are considering a three bedroom Ranch house in Red Hook this could be your answer.

Now those kind of guests are welcome unless they are eating all the blooms off the flowers...that is a n-no! Thanks for sharing the family who came to visit Jennifer!

That was great.  It is a beautiful yard too.  Did you get a video of it to post on the listing?

Wanda they stayed away from the plants which was a good thing or else I would have had to chase them away:)

Merline I did not get a good video I was afraid to open the door, since that might have chased them away.

George I think they were there for a meal :)

How neat is that. Sure it's great to have those kinds of visitors, but how about the human kind? Hopefully the open house was successful.

Make it a great weekend!

Jennifer, your post makes me smile. Love your ability to capture the moment and turn the unexpected open house guests into a marketing feature.  I bet the future buyers will love sitting on the deck & watch the birds, bees and deer frolick in their backyard.  Thanks for sharing.

Jennifer, A little variety to the open house!  We're surrounded by woods, so we get deer all the time.  We just hope they stay away from our flowers and shrubs (and deer resistant is a key criteria in our selection process!).

Jennifer, was this unexpected guest pre-approved? (just kidding...)

We do have deer in our backyard sometimes - though mostly at dusk.
