Thanks for sharing your experience and your photographs. Have a great day and an outstanding week.
We are constantly encroaching on their habitat. Looks like this one was just going for a stroll so that and you just happen to be able to take the shot.
Well Roger I'm sure you have your share of fun in Cleveland...it's just different.
Glad you liked the pictures, Mary.
Hi, Roy...I'm glad they came out. I was so excited, I was shaking a bit.
Hi, Joe...you got that right. That's why we have mountain lions attacking people. It's loss of habitat.
That would be so cool to see, from the safety i of the car that is. The only bears i get to see are people. I hope you got all your BPO's done. I had a light load as many of my companies seemed to be on vacation. I got a new REO assignment though so that kept me busy arranging all the preservation tasks as they dont use national companies which is nice because I can get it done right. Have a great Sunday.
Debbie - Isn't wildlife amazing! I'm glad you played it safe and kept your distance out of respect for the bear too. I remember a long time ago seeing a bear crossing in the Smokey Mountains. My young city boy groom got out of the car to take a picture when the Mama Bear jumped back to push her cub away from the crazy and foolish human.
This is an experience you'll never forget!
Wow Debbie how exciting, you saw a bear and Barbara Jo saw a bull shark.
You must always carry around your camera and thank goodness today you had it. Thanks for sharing...
Debbie, I would have thought you saw bears quite often with the mountains and all. But I guess they stay away from people whenever they can.
The bear looks very cute. I'm glad you were able to enjoy it at a distance. Had it been any closer to you, I wouldn't have thought of it as being so cute.
Always a fun day when you see a bear, thanks for sharing your excitement with us Debbie.
Hi Debbie,
You live in a wonderful place and see lots of neat animals on the road. I remember the tie up on the curvy mountain pass last year. A bear siting is spectacular and what good photos. Thanks for sharing.
Debbie, how exciting! 'He' does seem 'smarter than the average bear' by checking for traffic. So glad you got to have this experience too! I know what you mean about the shaking hands. That's what happened to me when I saw my bear :)
Debbie, I would have paused to enjoy the moment, just as you did. What fun, as long as you were safe.
I've never seen an elk, a moose or a bear. Wow, living in Cleveland sure is boring.............LOL.
