BUT DAD'S HAT TASTES BETTER...

But Dad's hat tastes better...do you mind me chewing on it for a bit? I happen to be teething and this really seems to taste better. Oh, I've used that excuse before? Well I know that I have two chewies right near me but there's something enticing about Dad's hat. Could it be because I'm not supposed to be doing this?

I was hoping to have a little prime rib for dinner but all I got was the same old, same old so I thought I'd treat myself to something different. I sure didn't think that Dad would mind and I still cannot understand why you took it away from me. Glad you got a photo of it though so I can always remember how much fun I was having.

I have had that happen before and my favorite shoes were gone in a flash. Then my new puppy really liked  my slip on tennis shoes. Oh they were so cute; plaid slip-ons so they unfortunately became my gardening shoes. She doesn't chew them anymore but loves to carry them around. If she finds a napkin or business card on the floor, it is hers to chew but nothing else anymore....thank goodness. I still pick my leather shoes up as they smell like chewy sticks. I think it is because they love us!!!

Hi Kristin...It is amazing how they can frustrate and entertain us at the same time. As much as we don't want them chewing our things we do get a kick out of not knowing what to expect next.

We have learned, like you, to try to keep as much as possible out of reach.

I think it is because they love us and because they know we love them that they can get away with so much.
